Adam and Lynsey brought pure chaos in the best way, and I was here for it. I got to Brookfield Barn and people were already laughing, teasing each other, and setting the mood for a day that didn’t take itself too seriously. That’s my sweet spot as a Sussex wedding photographer — no posing, no weird moments, just real stuff happening nonstop.
Brookfield Barn always makes life easy. You step outside and the views are right there. The layout keeps everyone close, so you get those quick reactions without hunting for them. The team run the day so smoothly you barely notice anything behind the scenes. It’s one of those venues where the day just flows effortlessly.
And then there was Shirley Whirley Curly Girly. Their dog fully stole the show. She wandered around greeting everyone like she owned the place, jumped into photos when she felt like it, and basically melted every heart in the building. Dogs at weddings are always great, but she was next level.
The banter kept rolling, the laughter didn’t stop, and every time I lifted the camera someone was cracking up or reacting to something happening across the room. When the dancefloor kicked off, it somehow got even better — big tunes, big moves, and all the real moments couples love looking back on.
